Neighbouring courses
The resort is a convenient transit point for golfers heading to one of several popular courses in the island. Family members accompanying golfers will find much to do enjoying Batam View's other extensive facilities. Golfers, on the other hand, can hone their chipping and putting skills at the resort's own mini nine-hole practice course.

Next door to Batam View is the 27-hole Palm Spring Golf Resort which offers three nine-hole courses of different terrains. Golfers relishing the challenge of bunkers will enjoy playing at Tering Bay Golf Resort, 10 minutes drive from Batam View. At the last count, there were more than 100 bunkers at this 18-hole course. In the opposite direction, also about 10 minutes drive, is the nine-hole Tamarin Santana Golf Course. This is the friendliest course in the whole of Batam Island and with a buggy-on-course facility, a relaxing course for beginners.

Whether it is for physical, spiritual and mental well-being, holistic or therapeutic spa session, our traditionally trained masseuses are on hand to pamper you from head to toe. Escape into the sublime and indulge yourself with the many heady options, ranging from body and aromatherapy massage to body scrubs and face treatments.

Night Life
Having a great time with memories to cherish comes naturally to guests at the resort. For a great time at night, guest can adjourn to the E-scape Sport Bar or join a beach or pool party which is organised from time to time.

Pub Hopping Tour
Batam after dark offers various nightlife attractions. One of the busiest districts, Nagoya Town comes to life after dusk. Enlivening the scene are some well-known pubs like Noname, Tampico, La Paloma Blanca, Z - Club, Golden Globe and The Peak. Get a taste of it. Join us for our 'Pub Hopping Tour' every Saturday to experience the Batam nightlife. The route takes you to different pubs offering insights about where to go and what to do. You will get to enjoy the ambience and appeal of different pubs, acquiring first-hand experience that will be useful for future visits.

E-scape Sports Bar
Have a great time till the wee hours and swing to the beat of the latest disco tracks at our inimitable E-scape Sport Bar. And if that is not enough, then adjourn to one of the four KTV rooms and sing ever-popular English, Chinese and Korean songs.

Beach Cove
Soak in the natural ambience whilst enjoying waterjet massage and a drink at our beach cove. Yes, we are taking relaxing at the beach in Batam to a new level with our open-air Jacuzzi and bar, the first of common facilities to be commissioned as part of the resort's upgrading programme.

Besides being a 'happening place' venue for fun in the sun, sand and sea, our private beach cove now has two stations for soothing massage under the sky, in addition to the Jacuzzi and beach bar. Access to the beach from the villas as well as from the main building has been improved. With general upgrading to the beach and new lightings installed, the beach cove is an ideal venue for night functions.

Poolside Party
An experience that appeals to many is a poolside party under a star-filled sky. The resort has organised barbecues and buffet dinners by the pool under a glittering sky that have mesmerised many a guest.

Guests have the option to take part in many activities offered by the sea sports centre.

Located within the private beach cove, the sea sports centre is open between 08:00 - 17:30 for guests to enjoy both non-motorised and motorised water sports, as well as beach games and land-based sports.

The centre also organises kampong walks and river cruises for guests to have first-hand experience of living in harmony with nature.

Kampong Walk
Experience the kampong lifestyle that still exists in Batam. Go on a guided tour of neighbouring Kampong Nongsa to appreciate the benefits of living in harmony with nature. Start with a walk along the beach where the guide will point out edible shells, nuts and usable plants. From the coconut tree-lined beach, the walking tour next takes to the tracks inland for a first-hand view of typical kampong life. The 90-minute walk includes a refreshing break for a coconut juice drink. Don't miss this opportunity to relive the attractions of living with nature.

Outdoor
Guests are spoiled for choice to indulge in fun-filled activities or just having a leisurely time enjoying the sun at the poolside, or strolling in the resort's spacious grounds which include our fruits, herb, and spice garden, and organic vegetable farming.

Indulge in jetty or pond fishing, building sandcastles or having a practice session at our nine-hole chipping and putting green. Other outdoor activities and facilities include a swimming pool, beach volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, amphitheatre as well as a playground designed for team-building games.

River Cruise
As it wends its way through Nongsa, Batam's leisure belt, Sambau River takes visitors from the present to the past. Starting from Batam View Beach Resort, the river cruise offers a spectacular seaview of Batam Centre, the gateway, commercial centre and administrative hub of the island. Navigating through the waters, the boat traverses the river passing by a verdant golf course, kelongs, kampongs and open charcoal mining pit to transport visitors - in a short ride - to the virgin mangrove swamps of Batam. Here, you can experience the peace, tranquility and stillness of a mangrove swamp at night.

Or be mesmerised by the fireflies flitting in the dark where the moon and the star-filled sky are the only natural light sources. And for a different experience, try a day tour to gain an understanding of the ecological value and marine creatures found in the mangrove swamps.

Indoor
'Do nothing' or 'do everything' is the resort's motto for guests. For the indoors inclined, there are recreational pursuits that include billiards, darts, card games, mahjong and other board games, or guests can sing their favourite songs at the KTV rooms at E-scape Sports Bar.

Clinic
Batam View Beach Resort has an in-house clinic with doctor and nurses and ambulance. We provide medical coverage for 24-hours emergency situation.
