Located in a quiet suburb area but still accesible to the MRT station. The hotel provides good value for money.The hotel is a tower structure with white and off white paint. It is surrounded by taller and more modern condominum projects along a a shady main road (Newton). The building is of an older generation and one can asily spot it.The rooms are bright and recently refurbished with new carpets and woodwork. Furniture is Chinese rosewood (dark red). The bathroom is new with beige marble and a black sinktop. The rooms are generous in size. The coffee house at the lobby level serves local cuisine and limited western fare. Simple in decor. The lobby is with white marble but somewhat discolored in places. Large mirrored pillars obstruct the view to the counter somewhat. Large chandeliers hang down to light the lobby. The lobby looks somewhat dated for today. Located in the suburb district of Novena and within 5 minutes walk to the Novena MRT train station. There are two shopping malls along that stretch as well as some eateries.
