Restaurants & Dining

In the heart of Chinatown a chic new restaurant opens its doors to connoisseurs of fine food and wines. Ember will be the new buzzword for discerning gourmands who never compromise on anything short of culinary excellence. Housed in the new hip hotel, 1929, along Keong Saik Road, Ember offers exquisite European cuisine with a tinge of Asian and Japanese influence.

Ember Restaurant

A cool eatery, with the 1,700 sq. ft. restaurant complementing the look of the hotel lobby, which serves inventive and modern international cuisine with an Asian twist.

Ember serves guests and city dwellers alike as a coffee shop, dining room, bar and lounge. The restaurant is decked out with reproduction Z chairs in cream and dark wood and vintage Louis Poulsen lamps 'rescued' from the former Danish parliament building. The visual focus of the 45-seater dining rooms is the bar.

Those who relish a breath of fresh air can also choose to take in the sights and sounds of colourful Chinatown with the option of adjoining cosy al fresco seating.
