Bukit Timah
Bukit Timah stands at the highest point of the city
state of Singapore, altitude of 164 metres, western beyond of Little
India, surrounded by an urban planning area and assets an extensive
flora and forest including Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, located 12
km from the Singapore CBD, duos the one in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro
Rain forest. It is marked a 164-hectare (405-acre) area preserving
a variety of tree and animal species. Designated walking and cycle
trails snaking through the dense jungle.

Getting there:
Some routes suggested for getting in the area.
- MRT to Newton Station (NS21), then take
TIBS bus 171.
- The gardens are a 5-minute walk from the Chinese Garden MRT
Station (EW25).
- Take a taxi from Orchard Road, or take SBS bus 16 and alight
at Marine Terrace. Then use the underpass to cross the
ECP expressway.
- Coach Drop-off Point is located at the Singapore Botanic
Gardens Visitor Centre and the Ginger Garden Coach Drop-off
Point.
- Coach Parking is available at the Singapore Botanic Gardens
Visitor Centre and Tyersall Avenue Public Coach Park.
